Community High School District 117 is eager to announce Jori Bowen has accepted the position at Lakes Community High School as principal beginning the 2022-23 school year. Mrs. Bowen takes on this role after 7½ years as Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction. Prior to her experience in this role, she was also an Assistant Principal of Student Services for two years and a Math Department Chair for 4 years. Mrs. Bowen began her career in the district as a Math teacher in 2002.
"It has been a pleasure to work side by side with Mrs. Bowen over the last 18 years and I am proud that she is moving into the principal's role at Lakes." Principal David Newberry said.
