Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find my senior’s subjectID number?
It was on the mailing from HR Imaging. If you don’t have it, go to Rootseniors.com and click “Don’t Know it? Click Here” next to the input box
Do I have to buy pictures to have my senior in the yearbook?
No, HR Imaging will send all pictures to Lakes regardless of purchase
Can I submit my own picture taken by a different photographer?
No, HR Imaging’s status as the official school photographer gives them exclusive rights to supply portraits for the yearbook.
Do you have any suggestions for other photographers?
Yes, I have a small list of photographers who I have seen their work and would be happy to share. Please email me.
Where do I get the graduation gown for pictures?
Lakes will provide the gown to the photographers to use during portraits
Can I choose which pose to include in the yearbook?
Yes. four of the poses will be deemed “yearbook options.” You may select the one you like the best
What should I wear / what do others wear?
Many students are in dress casual / work casual clothing. Some wear a shirt and tie, sport coat, or fancy dress. Some wear whatever is clean. Lakes encourages students to look presentable, and to not have hats that would interfere with seeing the seniors' faces. Ultimately, as long as school dress code rules are followed, what the senior wears is between them and their parent/guardian.
What happens if all the appointments are filled?
There will be some drop in opportunities in November
What if my senior misses all picture dates?
We will do our best to take in house pictures with a similar backdrop for our celebration day assembly and end of year events. These pictures are taken in April.
