FRESHMEN & SOPHOMORES  

Wednesday, October 14 - Due to SAT testing for the entire senior class, all learning for all freshmen and sophomores will be remote on Wednesday, October 14.  Teachers will post assignments, and students will be responsible for signing in each period for attendance.  Teachers will have limited to no availability due to testing duties.

JUNIORS 

Wednesday, October 14 - Due to SAT testing for the entire senior class, all learning for all juniors will be remote on Wednesday, October 14.  Teachers will post assignments, and students will be responsible for signing in each period for attendance.  Teachers will have limited to no availability due to testing duties.

Thursday, October 29 - Juniors that registered for the PSAT/NMSQT will report at 8:30 am for testing.  Students should bring pencils, a calculator, erasers, small snacks (put away during testing), and dress in layers.  CELL PHONES and SMARTWATCHES SHOULD BE LEFT AT HOME.  All safety procedures need to be followed including completing the health screener, the temperature scan, and wearing a mask.  Testing will be primarily in large groups of 40 in the gym; specific room assignments will be shared with students prior to the test day.  Students can access practice exams here.  See the PSAT/NMSQT Student Guide for more information.  More details are available in our PSAT/NMSQT communication.  Most students will be dismissed from school at the conclusion of the testing around 12:30 pm.

SENIORS

Wednesday, October 14 - ALL SENIORS will be in-person for the SAT with essay testing starting at 8:30 am.   This is a graduation requirement for all Illinois graduates from a public high school.  Make up testing will be October 28 for those students that are absent on the 14th.  Students should bring pencils, a calculator, erasers, small snacks (put away during testing), and dress in layers.  CELL PHONES and SMARTWATCHES SHOULD BE LEFT AT HOME.  All safety procedures need to be followed including completing the health screener, the temperature scan, and wearing a mask.  Specific room assignments will be shared with students prior to the test day as well as posted in the hallways.  SAT practice tests are available here.  See the SAT Student Guide for more information and a practice test.  Specific details are available in our SAT communication.  Most students will be dismissed from school around 1:30 pm at the conclusion of testing.
